Questions, answered

The things people actually ask.

How long does it take to get my first catalog out?

From signup to a shareable link, most brands are done in under an hour, including upload, AI review, and sending. Clean spreadsheet: closer to fifteen minutes. Stack of PDFs and photos: closer to ninety.

What if I'm already sending catalogs to buyers this quarter?

You don't have to switch everything at once. Most brands start by importing their current catalog and sharing a Whimbli link to one buyer as a test. Your existing PDFs and spreadsheets keep working. When you're ready to move more buyers over, the same catalog powers all of them.

What does my buyer actually see?

A clean, branded page with your products, your images, and the pricing specific to that buyer. No Whimbli branding unless you want it (for paid tiers only). They can save items, leave notes, and reply, all from the link. If they'd rather have a PDF or spreadsheet, you can export one in their preferred format from the same catalog.

Do I need to clean up my spreadsheet first?

No. Whimbli handles messy inputs. Inconsistent column names, multi-sheet workbooks, merged cells, photos mixed with data. Most PIM tools require you to restructure first. We start from what you have.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You export it. One click, full history, original format. We don't hold data hostage. It's yours, always has been.

What does it cost?

Early access members get free access now, with pricing locked in below public tiers when we launch. Public pricing will be usage-based, tied to products in your catalog and active buyers. Transparent, no custom contracts. If you're in early, you'll see pricing before anyone else.

What integrations do you support?

At launch: XLSX, CSV, PDF, and image imports. Export to CSV, XLSX, and PDF. Coming in 90 days: Shopify, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Faire, Amazon Seller Central, and JSON/API export. Early access members have direct input on the integration roadmap.

Is this a PIM? A catalog tool? Something else?

Whimbli is an AI-assisted PIM. A PIM manages product data. A catalog tool sends documents. Whimbli does both, plus the partner conversations, compliance tracking, and predictive intelligence that used to live in four different systems. We start with catalogs because that's where the pain is loudest.

Who's behind Whimbli?

The team spent years at Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Apple, Nike, and Coinbase, building enterprise systems. We got tired of watching small and medium businesses being priced out of the necessary infrastructure that would take their business from surviving to thriving.
